Sheila Volpe

My background is Graphic Design with a working life in London as an Art Editor and Book Designer for various publishing houses. I have also done illustrations for magazines, books and greeting card companies. After moving to Suffolk 10 years ago I now paint and draw as much as I can. I love experimenting with various styles and techniques and use mostly soft pastels and acrylics. I enjoy life drawing and attend regular classes and also work from vintage photographic reference. More recently I have been working on a series of impressionist/abstract cityscapes and landscapes using textures and layers.
