Rebecca Douglass Whatley
I work from life, whenever practical, but use my sketches and photos to assist with situations which change all the time. Landscape is my focus at the moment, with attention to details of particular habitats which interest me. The area which is the source of the Waveney and Little Ouse are of particular interest. My studies of plant and animal and insect life tend to show in the work, and oils with pyrography have become a technique very much in development in recent years.

I am a professional art educator, but rarely teach these days.
